Experience

I am a lifelong learner, and I have been involved in education since age 3. As a tutor, it is my goal to encourage learning with my students. I love tutoring, and I started when I was in high school. I have been working one on one with students ever since!I have been a teacher for over 10 years, working in a high school setting. Right now, I teach online classes in math for junior colleges throughout Colorado. I also work at Naropa University, where I teach meditation. Additionally, I create courses for teachers at Dominican University. I also teach Qigong.I love to work with math subjects, and I tutor students in the following subjects: Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1-2, Pre-Calculus, Calculus 1-3, Geometry, Middle School Math, Trigonometry, AP Calculus, IB Mathematics, ACCUPLACER Arithmetic, and Finite Mathematics. I also enjoy teaching Science and Physics. In addition, I offer test prep and assist students with the SAT.I earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at Colorado State University and a Master of Arts in Buddhist Studies at Naropa University. I have also gotten certification in the healing arts field, and I do Reiki and meditation.When I am not working, I enjoy working in my garden, practicing meditation, and Qigong. I also love to cook and spend time with my friends.
